Simon Whitehouse

Simon Whitehouse has worked at the World Bank on climate change since 2008 and has been the Fund Manager for the Forest Carbon Partnership Facility (FCPF) since 2012. Prior to joining the World Bank, Simon served as Director of Finance (Chief Finance Officer) for a number of large international development agencies and non-profits with annual budgets of up to $130 million. Simon is a UK Chartered Accountant and holds an Honors B.A. in Politics and Sociology from the University of York. He has lived and worked in Pakistan/Aftghanistan, Kenya and Tanzania. Simon has more than 30 years of financial experience, 13 of which have been spent working on carbon finance and REDD+, and has been working in international development for around 30 years.
