Bernice Van Bronkhorst

Ms. Van Bronkhorst, a Dutch national, joined the Bank in 2005 as an Urban Specialist in the Latin America and the Caribbean Region. She has since held various positions, including as Sector/Practice Manager from 2012-2016 for the Disaster Risk Management and Climate Change unit in the South Asia Region and, most recently, as Practice Manager for Urban Development and Disaster Risk Management for East and Southern Africa in the Social, Urban, Rural and Resilience GP.

Jorge Rodríguez

Jorge Mario Rodríguez is a specialist in Environmental Services (PES) with more than 25 years of experience in the development and implementation of innovative financing mechanisms, mobilization of resources for PES at the national and international level. He has been delegated by Costa Rica in negotiations of free trade agreements (Environmental Chapter), United Nations Conference of the Parties on Climate Change, Biodiversity. Representative of Costa Rica in the REDD + negotiations and REDD + Focal point in the Cooperative Carbon Fund for Forests (FCPF).

Roselyn Adjei, Ms

Roselyn Fosuah Adjei is Director, Climate Change at Ghana’s Forestry Commission and National REDD+ Focal Point. For 14 years she has been working on sustainable forest management, with a focus on building and designing inclusive and transformative governance structures that foster cross sectoral partnerships with local communities and Private sector.

Garo Batmanian

Garo Batmanian has extensive experience on environmental management, forestry, conservation, green finance, rural development areas, and pollution management; has led or been involved in analytic work and operations with government, NGOs and private sector focusing on environmental sustainability.

Simon Whitehouse

Simon Whitehouse has worked at the World Bank on climate change since 2008 and has been the Fund Manager for the Forest Carbon Partnership Facility (FCPF) since 2012. Prior to joining the World Bank, Simon served as Director of Finance (Chief Finance Officer) for a number of large international development agencies and non-profits with annual budgets of up to $130 million. Simon is a UK Chartered Accountant and holds an Honors B.A. in Politics and Sociology from the University of York. He has lived and worked in Pakistan/Aftghanistan, Kenya and Tanzania.

Andrea Kutter

Andrea Kutter has worked at the World Bank for the past 18 years. She is a Sr. Natural Resources Management Specialist in the Environment, Natural Resources and Blue Economy Global Practice (GP) and has been working for the past 4 years in the South Asia region on sustainable forest landscape management in Nepal and Bhutan. Before joining the GP, she led the Forest Investment Program and the Pilot Program for Climate Resilience, which are part of the Climate Investment Funds.
