Roselyn Fosuah Adjei is Director, Climate Change at Ghana’s Forestry Commission and National REDD+ Focal Point. For 14 years she has been working on sustainable forest management, with a focus on building and designing inclusive and transformative governance structures that foster cross sectoral partnerships with local communities and Private sector. With a Masters Degree in Carbon Management from The University of Edinburgh, Scotland, Roselyn believes that governance structures are key to innovative landscape level approaches that address deforestation and forest degradation and also build ecosystem resilience. She currently manages a portfolio of forest landscape programs with funding support from the FCPF, GCF, UNDP and FAO, addressing deforestation and forest degradation amongst important commodity supply chains whilst aggressively restoring forest cover and empowering local communities.
